Start of AFE Online Survey in Hanau
With a press conference in the city hall of Hanau, the starting signal for the online survey was given on 14 November 2019. The survey focusses on the commitment of seniors for creating age-friendly environments. The aim is to determine the interests and needs of older people in Hanau and to lay the foundation for civic engagement. It was drafted by ISIS and the Seniors’ Office of the City of Hanau and finalized by AFE Activists in their second workshop.
The Lord Mayor of the city attended the press conference and showed his support. Ms. Dunkel from the Seniors’ Office of the City of Hanau stated: “We want to encourage all senior citizens to participate and support us in creating an age-friendly environment for everyone. People that want to fill out the survey but don’t have internet at home can come to our office and use the computers here.”
All AFE Activists support the dissemination of the survey using their own networks and social-media channels and by distributing flyers and posters around town. The Seniors’ Advisory Board of the City of Hanau has declared to support their endeavors and looks forward to implementing the findings of the survey in political practice

Start der AFE Onlineumfrage in Hanau
Mit einer Pressekonferenz im Rathaus von Hanau wurde am 14. November 2019 der Startschuss für die Online-Befragung gegeben. Im Mittelpunkt der Befragung steht das Engagement von Senior*innen für ein alter(n)sfreundliches Umfeld. Ziel ist es, die Interessen und Bedürfnisse älterer Menschen in Hanau zu ermitteln und den Grundstein für bürgerschaftliches Engagement zu legen. Die Umfrage wurde von ISIS GmbH und dem Seniorenbüro der Stadt Hanau entworfen und von AFE Activists in ihrem zweiten Workshop finalisiert.
Der Oberbürgermeister der Stadt nahm an der Pressekonferenz teil und zeigte seine Unterstützung. Frau Dunkel vom Seniorenbüro der Stadt Hanau erklärte: „Wir möchten alle Seniorinnen und Senioren ermutigen, sich zu beteiligen und uns dabei zu unterstützen, ein altersfreundliches Umfeld für alle zu schaffen. Personen, die die Umfrage ausfüllen möchten, aber zu Hause kein Internet haben, können in unser Büro kommen und hier die Computer nutzen.”
Alle AFE Activists unterstützen die Verbreitung der Umfrage über ihre eigenen Netzwerke und Social-Media-Kanäle sowie durch die Verteilung von Flyern und Postern in der Stadt. Der Seniorenbeirat der Stadt Hanau hat seine Unterstützung zugesagt und freut sich darauf, die Ergebnisse der Befragung in die politische Praxis umzusetzen.
